This 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1— or Bruce as I call him —delivers exactly what a classic muscle car should: unmistakable presence, aggressive styling, and the deep, unmistakable rumble of a 351 V8. Finished in a striking white-and-black color combination, this is a Mach 1 that commands attention before the engine ever fires.
The vibrant white exterior provides the perfect contrast to the car’s signature black Mach 1 details. A NACA-duct ram-air hood, prominent hood scoop, blacked-out grille, front splitter, rear spoiler, and iconic hockey-stick graphics give Bruce a low, muscular stance. Polished Cragar SS wheels complete the look, adding just the right amount of shine without taking away from the car’s aggressive character.
Inside, the theme reverses with a predominantly black cabin accented by white inserts on the high-back bucket seats. As one of the more refined Mustangs of its era, the Mach 1 offers a driver-focused interior with a center console and armrest, woodgrain-style trim, and factory provisions for air conditioning, which will require servicing to blow cold. An Alpine stereo and upgraded subwoofer system add modern sound while preserving the unmistakable character of the cabin.
Under the hood sits Ford’s legendary 351-cubic-inch V8—the correct displacement for this H-code fastback. An Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and intake, MSD ignition, and long-tube headers give the engine added muscle and send a commanding rumble through the dual exhaust. Power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, wide Cooper Cobra tires, and rear traction bars help make Bruce more than a car that simply looks tough—he is built to get out and move.
The 1973 model marked the final year of the original first-generation Mustang, making this Mach 1 an unmistakable piece of American muscle-car history. With its bold styling, proper V8 power, and commanding road presence, Bruce isn’t a classic made to blend in—he was built to be seen, heard, and driven.

Bruce is genuinely one of a kind, commanding attention everywhere he goes, and I’ve poured an enormous amount of time, love, and care into bringing him back to life. From extensive upgrades to major mechanical rebuilds, no expense or effort has been spared to ensure he drives like the beast he was always meant to be.
Unfortunately, a few health issues have required me to reprioritize, and as hard as it is to let him go, Bruce deserves an owner who can give him the continued care, a proper home, and who will appreciate him for the unmistakable American icon he is.
